The simplest explanation is not always the most fun. Yes, you could say a school of mutants has always existed in West Chester, NY, but chose not to engage in any of the world threatening struggles– boring, (and also, very unlike the X-Men to ignore such threats). And the Baxter Building has been in the Microverse the whole time? –not buying it.
Captain Marvel by Artgem (aka Stanley Lau)
You could solve it easily with time travel, via the Infinity Gauntlet, with Captain Marvel resetting the entire universe, but one of things is not like the others– enter the XMen in an end credit trailer to the deafening screams of Marvel fans (I would be one of them), as Stan Lee begins reading a copy of the Daily Bugle with Fantastic Four on the front page. This is certainly scifi plausible and would be acceptable, but I have another theory..
..during the final battle with Thanos, Scarlet Witch alters reality with her magic, destroying the Infinity Stones, ceasing Thanos to have ever existed, but also inadvertently alters the reality of the universe. The previously vaporized superheroes return and BOOM the XMen now exist, and have always existed according to everyone, except Wanda. Wolverine, Rogue and SpiderWoman (Jessica Drew) are standing beside their teammates, the Avengers, The Fantastic Four can be seen far away atop the Baxter Building, and far, far away, the Silver Surfer makes a deal with Galactus to save Zenn-la.
X-Men : Apocalypse premieres today (officially tomorrow, but the film is in theaters today for the midnight showing at 7pm, #movielogic). As part of the promotion for the XMen movie, you can call the actual number for Xavier’s School For Gifted Youngsters, in West Chester, New York, featured in all the X-Men comics and previous XMen films, and even featured in this year’s Deadpool movie. What happens when you call the number? Who will answer? I wont be explaining all the mysteries of the universe on this blog, just call the number yourself, call it 10 times and share the number with friends!
Last year we learned that Fox was bringing the New Mutants to television and now, today, the addition of X-Men’s Hellfire club as a separate tv series will be joining the superhero ranks on television. 20th Century Fox is following Marvel’s lead, as DC and others have, and are creating their cinematic / television universe. it is rumored that the tv mutant superheroes will tie in to the movies as do Marvel heroes, and not like DC superheroes, which will remain separate with no tie-ins.
‘Legion‘ will be based on the ‘New Mutants’ comic book series created by all-star comic book creator Chris Claremont and Bill Sienkiewcz. Legion is one of the most powerful mutants that exists in the Marvel universe. it does state, in the New Mutants comics, that Legion is THE most powerful, but I disagree. Legion absorbs other mutants into his consciousness, consuming their personality, as well as their mutant powers. his powers are similar to Rogue’s and Apcalypse’s, and in this respect, Legion is hugely powerful. Legion also influenced ‘Sylar’ from ‘Heroes.’ the first 2014 rumors hinted that this mutant tv series was to be ‘X-Force.’ which excited me to no end; sad we wont see Domino on the small screen, but hopes remain, as rumored ‘X-Men: X-Force’ movie with Deadpool & Cable may premiere in 2018. rumors a year ago hinted this Fox tv series would fashioned after Marvel’s ‘X-Factor‘ comics. now we have two confirmed Fox superhero tv shows based on Marvel X-Men superheroes.
‘Hellfire‘ will be a television series based on the ‘Hellfire Club’ from the ‘X-men: First Class’ movie, led by Sebastian Shaw, who was played by Kevin Bacon in the movie and timeline wise, set in the 60s and before the plot of the ‘X-Men: First Class’ movie begins. the ‘Hellfire’ tv show’s hero will be a “secret agent” (CIA, like Moria MacTaggert?) who tries to thwart ” a woman supervillain” (Emma Frost? way cool awesome if true) of a secret organization [The Hellfire Club] with evil plans of world domination, funded by the world’s wealthiest. sounds like a 60s Ian Flemming’s James Bond film, but with superpowers, in other words, cool.
expect these two new and upcoming superpowered tv shows fall 2016. I’m looking forward to both Fox/ Marvel tv shows; just don’t be like the final season of ‘Heroes’ or ‘Generation X’ from 1996. Bryan Singer will producing so great things are expected..
Deadpool reading Judy Blume’s “Are you there God, It’s me, Margaret?” was the image Ryan Reynolds posted on his twitter this morning. sometimes I wonder if Deadpool was created after Ryan Reynolds, perfect together..
Deadpool is a mutant, within the Marvel X-Men universe, with Wolverine’s healing powers and super fast reflexes. he is most commonly known as “The Merc with the Mouth,” as he is a mercenary with a dark and highly snarky-sarcastic sense of humor. also pictured is the mutant Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Briana Hildebrand) with telepathy and precognition abilities, who often sees a dark future.

Deadpool, the movie, staring Ryan Reynolds, premieres, in theatres, Feb 12 2016.
actress Le´a Seydoux will star as Bella Donna Boudreaux, a mutant with psychic, astral projection and plasma blasts superpowers, in the upcoming ‘Gambit’ film, written by Chris Clarement, of X-Men comic book writer fame. ‘Gambit’ will, of course, star Channing Tatum as Remy LeBeau, Gambit. the ‘Gambit’ movie is set to premiere on Oct 7, 2016. also in 2016, we will get 2 other Marvel comic book mutant movies by 20th Century Fox, ‘Deadpool,’ and ‘X-Men : Apocalypse.’
it’s for sure this time, the “Gambit’ solo X-Men movie is a go and Channing Tatum will star as Gambit. according to the hollywood reporter: Channing Tatum closed a deal this morning with Fox pictures and confirms he is signed on for the upcoming X-Men solo movie, ‘Gambit.’ apparently, Channing Tatum threatened to leave as a negotiation tactic, which, we, on twitter, believed to be to true. Fox was expecting Channing Tatum to appear in multiple X-Men movies and spinoffs as Gambit and Channing Tatum had originally only signed up for one movie, the solo ‘Gambit’ movie. it is still unclear if Channing Tatum’s ‘Gambit’ will appear in next year’s ‘X-Men : Apacolaypse.’ glad they worked it out; happy to have Channing Tatum as Remy LeBeau, Gambit. Remy LeBeau is a cajun orphan, who grows up in New Orleans, becoming a thief. he meets Storm, who gets him to join the X-Men. Gambit’s mutant power is the ability to turn potential energy into kinetic energy, thus charging objects so that they will explode. he is often depicted with a deck of cards, which he charges and tosses at enemies. also in the X-Men comics, Gambit and Rogue fall in love. Fox studios is now casting a new Rogue for the Gambit solo movie. too bad Fox doesn’t want Anna Paquin as Rogue any more 😦 the ‘Gambit’ movie is set to premiere on October 7, 2016.
OMG, i don’t know either, but come on 22 Jumping G.I. Joe Magic Mike, you played a laser gravity boots wearing wolf hybrid in Jupiter Ascending, an X-Men mutant with ability to explode anything isn’t that much of a stretch; we need our Remy Lebeau, aka Gambit. Fox Studios has set the Gambit movie release date for October 7th, 2016; written by Chris Claremont, the creator of Marvel’s The X-Men comics.
fact: negotiations are falling apart now with Channing Tatum and Fox studio’s ‘X-Men: Gambit’ movie team; Channing Tatum has reportedly left the project, but it is yet unconfirmed by Fox Studios or Channing Tatum.
solution: tweet your angst, it helps (well maybe a little 🙂
